The American Mathematics Competitions announced 2009 USAMO Qualifiers after two-rounds of AIME competition in February and March. Of the 20 SHS students, who qualified for AIME, nineteen wrote for AIME. Of the nineteen students, nine have qualified to write for USA Mathematics Olympiad:
