2009-2010 MATH CLUB OFFICERS
President: acts as the organizational master of the club. By overseeing the other officers, he or she ensures that everyone is doing his or her job and that meetings and contests run smoothly.
Chief of Staff: manages the finances and membership of the club. Through fundraisers and club membership dues, he or she ensures that the club remains solvent at all times. This person is also responsible for organizing all important documents, updating the club's website, and relaying messages to the entire club. (formerly known as Treasurer/Archivist)
Contest Master: creates practice problems for the entire team to work on during the week in order to help members prepare for contests and improve their math skills (Weekly Warm-up). Also runs after-school practice sessions.
Middle School Liaison: coordinates communication between Saratoga High School and Redwood Middle School. The liaison also organizes tutoring sessions for middle school students by members of the math club.
Intramural: organizes the Intramural Math Contest, a 6 round test offered to Geometry Enriched, Algebra 2H, and Trig/Precalc H students every grading period.
